Dr Stephanie Rossit from UEA’s School of Psychology has led a team of researchers to investigate which parts of the brain are used when handling tools. Their results have just been published in the Journal of Neuroscience: Hand-selective visual regions represent how to grasp 3D tools: brain decoding during real actions as well as being chosen as a research highlight in Nature. Dr Rossit has also published a background piece here, in The Conversation.
