It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Professor Glyn Humphreys. Our sympathies are with his family, friends and colleagues.
Professor Humphreys was a great cognitive psychologist who succeeded in achieving major contributions to the scientific field of neuropsychology and neurosciences without losing sight of the needs of patients, the fruits of his work being applied clinically throughout neuro services nationally and internationally.
A leading expert in the field of cognitive neuroscience, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the British Psychological Society’s Research Board in July 2015.
His presence and contribution to the field will be greatly missed.
